Fees
Knowing what they are is the first step in avoiding them
At SmarterBank ® our goal is to save you money and help you get out of debt faster. That's why we try to keep our fees low and transparent. Still, we want you to know two things: what they are and how to avoid them.
But first, know that your account is fee-free for most normal use.
We'll never
charge you for:
- Opening your account
- Maintaining an active account
- Rewards enrollment
- Your debit card
- ATM transactions at over 40,000 STARsf® ATMs
- Online banking and bill pay
- Your first order of checks
Now back to the fees…
We don't like it when banks hide their fees or give long, confusing explanations as to what they are. So, to help you clearly understand our fees we've grouped them into categories and provided simple explanations. As always, if you still have a question, we're here with an answer at: customerservice@smarterbank.com .
